When someone asks me to make a cake for their wedding, or their child’s first birthday, or a milestone anniversary — I always ask the same first question: what does this person love?
Not what flavour do they want. Not what colour scheme fits the venue. What do they love?
A bespoke cake should feel like it was made for one person, because it was. The flavour, the design, the size — all of it decided together, in conversation, until it feels exactly right.
More Than Just a Cake
I’ve made cakes shaped like cats, cakes covered in pressed flowers, cakes with five layers of different fillings because the couple couldn’t agree on just one. That’s the joy of it.
Every order starts with a conversation. If you have an idea — even a vague one — I’d love to hear it.
